Reflection on Video
WWW - The style of the video is what I wanted mostly which was good and consistent. This meant that the mise-en-scene was good and especially with the makeup and location it all worked very well together. The footage that I filmed and used worked really well with the song and was mostly planned out carefully and what I wanted. The outfit that I chose is something I am really happy with as the white of the jacket contrasted nicely with the dark of the video which was effective when edited in the way I wanted. I think the editing went well as I tried very hard to fit the transitions and videos to the beat of the song, especially the ‘g-g-g-get outta here’ part in which I very carefully cut up the video to fit perfectly with each instance of the ‘g’ in the song. The glitch effects also worked well with the beginning of the video and made it feel quite imperfect which I wanted as the video is supposed to be a sort of descent into madness.
